There are several little shopping areas in Palm Springs. Not everything is on the strip downtown. Some centers are away from the hustle and bustle, and others are hidden little gems downtown.
Here are a few of my favorite centers to do my own personal specialty shopping.
The Corridor is a cute quaint center with a dog friendly courtyard. It is located just above Alejo on Palm Canyon Dr. This is a magical place to meet up with friends, enjoy a cup of coffee from Koffi, eat at one of the terrific restaurants like Chicken Ranch Cafe, shop at Just Fabulous, or get a hair cut at the salon.
Smoketree Commons is located in south Palm Springs off Palm Canyon and Sunrise. There is a grocery store with an incredible salad bar, delicious burgers and BBQ, a yummy sweet bakery, a hardware store and a postal annex. I shop this center at least once a week. The BBQ place is my favorite-good music, cold beer, and they have a pet friendly patio too.
The Springs shopping center is located off Gene Autry and Ramon. Okay, this center is cool because they have a Home Depot, Marshalls, Aldi and a plethora of food places like 5 Guys, Dickey’s BBQ, and Baja Fresh. It’s directly across from their airport, so it’s not uncommon to see some pretty cool take offs!
