Palm Springs and the surrounding areas welcomes over 300 days of sunshine per year, so no wonder we are the most magical year round destination! Clear skies and warm days, even in winter, bring the snowbirds and out of town guests from October through May.
When people come to visit, they are drawn to the many outdoor activities like tennis, pickle ball, hiking, golf, and just good old fashioned sight seeing. There is never a shortage of outdoor activities, after all, most people could swim everyday of the year here, let alone the many other fun adventures to be had.
My favorite outdoor activity has to be hiking on one of the valley’s best hiking trails. Tahquitz Canyon is a favorite because it is a 1 mile loop-a pretty easy trek, but get’s the heart rate up, and it is beautiful Along the way the big horn sheep meander along the hills, and you receive the amazing finale, a waterfall into a cool blue pool.
No matter what outdoor adventure you choose, be sure to carry with you H2O, strap on some good comfortable shoes, and get out an explore all the many things that Palm Springs (and nearby) has to offer.
